The chalkboard will get a frame still, and this is for my notes to the class for the cheese and wine classes that will start next month.

That is how I built half my shop. My dad had his own log home business so whenever he retired I got a 24' box truck full of tools.

what is stopping it from opening wider/falling? would you want to add a strap so the back leg doesn't slide out? also, either that's the most subtle taper i have ever seen or the legs are straight..haha.

It will get a chain for that reason, and there is no taper. Their straight.
