I was like :D when I saw the first part, then I was like :( when I saw the j/k ._.

I want to put up a website for a gaming community I am putting together (nothing super serious, but I have a lot of friends, and with black ops)...

I don't do webdesign, so was wondering what your best suggestions are on getting something together. Ideally free, but something VERY fair is ok too. Doesn't need to be a unique template if that is the path. Needs to be linked to some sort of CMS. Forums are going to be the main thing. Was thinking some sort of customized/modded version of like Vbulletin or SMF/Phpbb, but I can't find a nice template, and I can't do the modding myself, because stock portal software tends to be lacking.

So...Anyone know a good place to get this sort of thing?

Just man up and make a freewebs and go through the years that it takes to learn how to use it.
