I just started a project of building a shisha table made out of the glass from some old cupboard doors. Glass cause if the charcoal falls on wood (aka my floor), it will leave a nasty burn etc. Glass can take higher temperature changes, and in worst case scenario it will only crack. However, glass is reinforced, massive one so i don't really see it happening unless i actually burn the charcoal on it.

Got the screwdrivers and glass is nice and spiffy, now i need some glass drills. I might sketch it out how i see it when it will be done
