im actually stopping in this art shop after class today

any suggestions?

i currently have a 2b/2h pencil medium paper



also my scanner is a new epson... but it doesnt pick up my pencil drawings?

so im guesing i need to sketch darker eh>? haha or diff pencils/paper ?

I can't relly help you much but i can tell from my experience, get wide variety of pencils - not like one of each but maybe like 8B, 6B, 4B, 2B, HB, 2H, 4H or something.

find yourself some good eraser - kneaded one doesn't make it alone. also good sharpener, you don't want to break tip everytime you use it. I should find myself better sketchbook but im not aware of their prices and im short of money right now anyway.

im learning animals anatomy today, wish me luck - taking horses right now, maybe i will even upload sketches i made today.

Todays sketches - im not pleased, my sons. But im still praticing - trying to find technique how to make as much details as possible with as less effort as possible. This book i found, is pretty interesting. If anyone got any online-book regarding traditional art and such, i would be happy if one could share it

Basically the whole book is about animals - i took the horses part today. I didn't really do anything my own, more like tried to do what it taught/showed me but i will, i will soon enough. Got the basic anatomy, skeleton and muscular aswell as basic bodyshapes etc etc etc. whatever. I hope im not too sucky for this thread for now.
