Atm you are mixing your previous style with something new, it would be best to just keep on painting in the direction you went. I didn't read out clouds at starts, nor i do read them from the image now To be honest i always thought you were using higher palette of brushes than just round ones, tricky fellow I got same problem with realism, in my humble opinion palette colour picks are more than 40% of what makes image realistic.
