Tis not what I said.

Its very difficult to get credit cards/loans if youve never had one.

no way, not in my experience.

if you shop at a retail store often, ask them about opening a credit card with them - every little bit helps, especially if you manage your funds well spread around 4-5 cards, make your payments IMMEDIATELY following your purchases, and do a "large" purchase every 1-3 months.

Youre telling me stuff that my dad has been telling me since I was like 14.

Still wasnt easy to get one. Especially one with no annual fee or any other annoying junk.

Debit wont help you buy a house later.


Do like we did. save save save save save save big ass down payment, most banks will give you a loan with a big enough down payment
