does anyone know how I can get an image filling the whole background on a website? Not just adding it in the original document but in the html coding?

Add it to the CSS file. use the image background thing to set the image as the background.

sorry I don't understand that. I don't really work so much with coding, I just use dreamweaver. thanks.

The fact that you have no idea what a stylesheet is says you probably shouldn't be trying to code a site.
