well xp dont use 50% of your ram (i have 2g) when you got no programs on.

The thing about vista is that it came too early and there where not many pc's that could handle it well at that time. If you got more then 2 programs on the computer lags. And Vista aero is a big part of it.
Now vista "works" but it is still not a good os. Too many hidden processors slowing down the comp.

I just want a fast working computer atm and win 7 is the best os atm so i will install it soon.

i have 2GB DDR400 in my personal pc which is old as fuck and for normal use, win7 requires around 200-300 MB.. that isn't much more than XP but you can't really compare these two, am i right?

Vista just drains everything your PC has, looks crap and eventually fuck your brain with all those stupid errors and shits

besides the need for it to constantly ask your approval. when you log on as administrator, i dont think you should have to validate what your doin on your machine. 8/

i would rather install 95 than XP on very shitty PC

yea, vista is pretty gay for use.. over one year now with win7 and i still love it.

ya i found that it never really turned off though. certain functions provoke it to prompt you. i nevar liked vista, i brought my machine back to xp, and waited for the next alternative
