never ever ever ever ever never do you first self tattoo on your arm! you WILL screw it up, no ifs ands or buts.
I do tatto's, ive been through apprentice training, i know how to do this and im telling you don't do it.

the ink was not sticking for a reason. You can stick ink on anyone anywhere if you know how to do it.

if you absolutely have to at least do it on your legs..
i had several months of training before I did my legs, and they still didnt come out the way I wanted them to.

im obviously talking about the surface under the latex. the latex is thinner than a dime. and most needle depth is set at the thickness of a quarter.

if you're confident in your skills it shouldn't be a problem. my friend tattooed his forearm first tattoo with a machine and it went off like a charm. he tattooed me too before he even began his apprenticeship.

Sometimes just being confident in yourself isn't enough....maybe just an opinion though.

"aren't that bad" wouldn't be my first choice words to describe the linework in a tattoo on my forearm.
