Yesterday was something in its own... Dropped off at a friends house after school, wasn't home
Walked 8 miles home.
Than was picked up by some dealers and they gave me a ride.

But I'll deff. buy one asap.

r u in high school? just wondering...
i found that rubber erasers really helped me with my shading by the way, u might want to consider buying one
i didnt have all the pencils chunky said but i used a number 2 pencil a rubber eraser and a black hard cover sketchbook from hobby lobby...
getting a sketchbook will also motivate you to not waste paper/space on drawings that you don't spend too much time on

edit: churley... my bad... lol!

Some advice: if you're just starting and want to get better, stay far, far away from cartoon styles.
Those styles develop after you've learned how form and light works, and want to stretch reality.

Realistic art. Learn anatomy, draw a chair, do anything realistic. This will let you understand how forms work and how things connect. It doesn't look like you're into shading yet, so light isn't really a concern.

dude you could literally start anywhere, you're smack fucking dab right at the beggining of this drawing process.
im comparing your art to my nephews. and hes got a few lessons over you bro. idk if that puts it into perspective for you, but i have not seen any progress in this thread so far.
sounds dumb, but your biggest problem im seeing, is that you still draw from memory. your figures are cookie cutter, round head, round is, line for mouth, teacup handles for ears.

just do it man, nobody is going to tell you a magic formula for how to draw, you literally just have to start drawing ALL the time

spend an hour or two just copying some anatomy or really trying to draw a face that is proportioned and measured out or copying cartoons that you like or even just draw the tissue box sitting on your desk.. look back through this thread man its 5 pages long and 7 days long and you have 5 drawings that each couldnt have taken you longer than 10 or 15 mins to complete. If you fail at drawing that head the first time, compare your drawing the the reference and look at what is different and try it again.. and again.. and again

i dont mean to be mean or say that your not trying but your not trying
