OP: you really do need to read tutorials, its the fastest way to see improvement... and you need a lot of it

very true. tutorials help you familiarize yourself with the program and show you techniques that you can apply later. just about everyone can still benefit from tuts due to the latter reason, but a lot of the people in this section have already developed their own styles and already know their ways around the program very well... nobody is saying that its only YOU that has to read tutorials, you would simply benefit greatly from them.

well lets check back on my latest sig:



- rule of thirds? CHECK
- flow of the render? CHECK
- blending the render well in? CHECK
- all objects share same light source? CHECK
- everything matching the overall look? CHECK
- put some fancy effects in? CHECK
- choose a nice colorscheme? CHECK

so now go ahead and tell me where to greatly improve myself srsly u are just a bunch of trashtalkers, whereas 90% of you even cant do better than me. im amused...
