what do you mean?

that bitch is just doing it wrong, lolz, she's lifting her heel off the ground when she kicks, so:

a. her kick probably wouldn't hurt, because she's got no balance [watch her leg buckle while she's kicking]
b. if she made contact and you moved into her kick, it would knock her dumbass over

e: if you remove your footing, you give up all of your power. that's my favorite part about watching mma fights, when these brutish dudes try to headkick, miss, then spin around and give up their back. asking to get knocked out imo

Right now MMA is growing Big Time, I started training when I learned to walk I first trained in Tae Kwon Do (Korean M.A.), I then moved to Hapkido, Mui Thai, Freestyle Wrestling, BJJ, Judo all have something to offer. I was in a phase where I thought that BJJ was so dominate which is true and I dismissed 99.9% of Tae Kwon Do as a useful Tool (This is Chuck Norris Style he calls it Tang Soo do) but as I got better I opened my mind and realized that these work!!, I have seen many fighters fall to High Kicks, while they may be risky the return is huge and the recovery is fairly quick, I do prefer Low kicks to the legs and traditional Jabs/Hook Cross and Straight until I can get into a clinch. Have you ever seen Mirko Filipović aka Cro Cop he is just one example of a fighter using high kicks. I think that your best MMA is what you are comfortable with, I prefer many styles but I focus mostly on Thai Boxing and BJJ.

Damn, I need to write a book :P

Oh yeah, I am writing my own book because I need something to do, I know its cheesy but I want to call it "MMA for Dummies" There is so much to this both Psychological as well as physical and unlike real fighting this is different because there is the element of using the cage itself to your advantage.

Short answer- High Kicks including spinning kicks are sometimes a good option because it does come as a surprise, same with a spinning backfist (I use this a lot and this does add IAS) and if you happen to miss you still have plenty of FHR.
Oh wait, I cant believe that I am using D2 Terms

I love training with Pro fighters, when I got the chance to work with Royce Gracie at his old school in Torrence I learned so much, Lately I have been working out with Py Eun (Former South Korean Natonal Judo champ) and Tony Lopez (He has trained greats such as Oleg Taktarov and Fedor he also lives very close to my house) I have gained some weight 160 pounds now and I like to train with others in the same weight class but it is fun to train with others in any weight class.

My problem now is that I work a lot and I am too poor to train with top Notch fighters. Where I live there aren't many great MMA fighters and cage fighting is a joke because there are no rankings meaning that all fights are very one sided.

I don't have anything against high kicks, I just think you should keep your foot planted before you extend your leg.
