I Hated sushi, then I went to a sushi place with some asians. Then they pick the best things out and my opinion was changed. Dragon rolls

I cant deal with the texture. That hits me before the taste and it makes me want to gag.

Should I not even bother to try learn how to use the pen tool properly for stuff like this in photoshop:

Should I just get Illustrator and do everything on there?
Cause I remember the last time I tried to do something like this on photoshop all the edges were choppy as hell.
