Yeah I shouldn't complain by any means.  I mean hell I work whenever I want and make a good living doing it.  I work from home all I have to do is walk across to my wood shop.  But actually being a carpenter going out and working with some of the contractors around here is pretty shitty,

I've been trying to acquire all the tools I will need, any recommendations on table saws? I was thinking a nice delta.

Bad words to live by, you should enjoy what you do. I used to enjoy it, but the last four years have killed my love for cooking. one woman... one bitch...

I've always loved to make stuff, problem is I can hardly keep on tast long enough to finish one of the item. most times it gets shelved to another project!

I wait to find stuff on craigs list, that JET drill press I just got I scored for 150$

I remember seeing a beautiful 2000$ delta table saw going for 300$ but I just didn't have the room.

Delta does make very good table tools. My table saw and planer are both Delta's and if and when they break I will be buying the exact same models. About half my tools have been pilfered from my dads old log home building business and the other half have been from auctions, garage sales, and flea markets. Trust me you don't need new tools right away.

I have a few delta hand tools, they are pretty decent
Only real brand to avoid would be Kobalt, They have really gotten crappy since they sold out to lowes. Craps all plastic
Cracked a brand new hammer about a month ago clean in halve

LOL  bet that was a surprise

The surprise was closely associated with anger and "son of a bitch"-ing
Was like a $25 hammer.
