so its a half design tech degree and half studio art..

SO PRETTY MUCH ill be half intro'd into studio trad art, and half intro design classes.... never really diving into advance... so i wont be a professional for shat......


and you know how a Bach. requires 40 credits in 3000 level classes and higher?

well for this new degree, there making all the intro classes 3000 level.... not changing curriculum, only the #..... lol

Don't worry too much about the skills, your degree will ultimately never mean much, it's just a means to an end.

Mine was in "digital art", which basically meant I learnt basic web design/3D modelling/animation/video editing/design without ever specialising in anything.

In the end, just keep a positive attitude, work out what you want to do with yourself and things will go well.

and from what i hear..... 90% of what you need to learn, will be form the actual job that you aquire?

Yup. My current job is pretty much unrelated to what I learnt during my degree. My job title is "email campaign coordinator", which means I'm responsible for planning and sending email campaigns to around a million people. As a part of that, I need to run a//b tests for various campaigns and also code the emails themselves, which uses HTML techniques I was never taught because they were "outdated", according to my university tutors.

£22k, which isn't bad, obv, but I'd like to be on a minimum of 25k in a couple years.

No benefits in term of money, but the company is pretty cool and super laid back, so it's a nice working environment, and the marketing team there is solid, so I'm in a position to learn a lot.
