There will always be retards, but that's no reason to sink to their level. Back when I was active here, I remember me and Heretic (particularly) being extremely friendly with all the newcomers. Sure a bunch of them completely ignored the advice, but they also left the place after less than a week. Those who will stick will want to improve and won't take criticism in a bad way, especially if you're being friendly with them.
I've had at least 5 PMs from regular members thanking me out of no where because I helped them out and wasn't a dick with them when they started out.

Most of the people who actively post graphics here are either digipainters or vector artists, almost none of us actually tag anymore, and when we do, we tag for other artists who we are friends with and respect. None of the regulars here take requests seriously, and the only time someone here does a request, it's for another regular's iso (see Florafreak's anime iso) or when they're trying to scrounge up some fg to play diablo for a week.
The only thing that is a constant here, is we're tired of reading the same shit over and over again from people who don't really understand graphic art or design. Plain and simple, we fucking hate rain animations. Every single one of us. We had premade vector brushes, difference clouds filters, and horrible fonts like bleeding cowboys and comic sans; we hate copy-paste + font jobs, topaz vivacity, and outer glows on renders; we hate children who can't take cnc, rippers, and most of all, we hate the requestfags who do all of the aforementioned things, appeal to a group of idiots, then strut into this section like they own the place.
All we have is other eachother, and we're cliquey, and we're douchebags, and we're whores, and we're assholes, and we're cunts, and we're bitches, and we're flamers.
We're the regulars.
