never said you had to stop, but at least don't tell them the wrong way.

and yes, I came here and was told what I made was crap and was called out for stealing my first day here.

nothing in life is easy, we don't need to sugar coat the truth for the few that come in here for a day and never come back.

those who will try get the help they need.

Okay. I understand that you came here and was told that your work was crap. I, too, have had this experience. Life is not easy and it is never going to be. People underestimate how miserable people's lives really are. I say it is time we end all the negative comments because most, not all, are random deflections of wannabe designers' low self-esteem. The reason people post here is because they are looking for help; So let's give it to them.

you say looking for help, but i think you mean they want to be called awesome gfx pros

because apparently telling them the truth is mean

like if i walked into a concrete mixing factory and had NO idea what was going on, do you think they would say, "awww cute look at him fuck up lets tell him hes doing good" or is it more realistic that they'd say, "wow, wtf are you doing have you ever even seen a cement mixer? please stop fucking around without learning what you are doing"

I agree that there is a lot of negativity here, which i would love to be done with out. but don't confuse negativity with harsh criticism.

I do give help, but I will not do it for you.

True. There is clearly a line in this situation. No one should promote a negative 'behavior', such as not smudging, etc. However, no one should be praised as this "awesome gfx pros" because everyone in this forum, including myself, is not a pro. Harsh criticism is not constructive criticism. Nothing productive can come from 'harsh criticism'.
