Because this way people have to get their plants from shady characters in shady areas and thus making things much safer for the populous of course. Sometime I wish I retained the naivete I had as a child because the older I get the more I realize how much I hate this planet.

Yeah it was supposed to begin the change in policy regarding mj but I guess people still think it's dangerous and it's the assassin of youth. First decriminalize it then regulate it like cigarettes and it should be fine, 18 and up no problem. But there's so much politics in this, especially with the decriminalization of it, prison lobbyists don't want that because the more densely packed the prisons are the more money they make. Humans are retarded.

Basically, the way marijuana in California is regulated currently is a lot more laid-back and has fewer consequences than if marijuana was 'legal' here.
