Exactly, this place has always been the same as far as the basic sig making rules apply. It's always been about ''composition, rule of thirds, depths'' and some other concepts that 90% of people don't even understand to begin with. It's like before they opened this place, the first graphic design member spent a weekend at tagmonkey (god knows if that place is still relevent), learned one style and came back here to show ''the only true way of making a signature''.
There is such thing as a good animated signature, a good messy signature, a good black and white signature etc, but most of you just don't know about it and are afraid to experiment because you want to ''fit in''.

yes that's up to individuals, but one should not jump the gun too fast and mark someones taste as bad.
