if i knew you would all tear up so much instead of congratulate greg on his effort and hard work, then i wouldn't have posted at all.
perhaps you've forgotten that, while my group as a whole is inactive, vengance and lazydazy are both candidates for victory in the follow up tournament, so by choosing to award greg, i am also acknowledging my own group's shortcomings.
i may have put effort and hard work in, but in this regard, i can safely say that greg has done an outstanding job of teaching and following up with his students, and it's wonderful to see his students equally committed.
i'm not trying to take anything away from anyone, which you all seem to think. i'm trying to award what i feel like was exceptional work.
the whole tournament aspect was an impromptu attempt at sparking incentive to learn and teach back into this forum, and the thought process going into this was a few minutes to make a post, and the 2-3 pm's i exchanged with TRM.
i already said we can still have the tournament, since you're all so upset about it.
the bottom line is this: sure, i changed the loosely worded rules to my own tournament, but why are you all so upset about it if none of you care about the pixel money?
After all these posts you still don't get it.

i mean, im with sane in this in that if you want to run a tournament, run a tournament
and, if you want to give odin fg for being a nice guy give him fg
but, don't (attempt to) switch things halfway through and imply no one else is trying as hard.
because all he succeeded in doing was piss off everyone pretty much
pre-emptive edit/ if it wasnt about fg at all, then why would you need to decide who gets the fg at all instead of just leaving it as is (something just to have at the end)
made zero sense
