Hey man, good stuff, that second attempt of yours is a big improvement on the first. It might not look that much prettier but the main forms are more accurate, your starting to make good use of the bean, the sphere, and the cylanders.
Some more general drawing tips that might help~
-If you have a printer, print out the reference, put it right next to your drawing. Much easier to draw that way instead of from a computer monitor.
-Really think about your line before you make it. Many of your lines look fuzzy, it's because you start drawing a line before you thought about the line. Take time to consider the line, is it a straight? a C curve? or an S curve? If it is anything more complex than those three lines, it requires more than one stroke. Keep it light at first if your afraid but make sure your pencil is traveling some distance.
-There is no "cheating" when your just starting, just training wheels, which help you learn faster. Measuring, grids, whatever, if it helps, do it. If you printed it out, you might even trace it first, and then try to draw it free hand after. Don't be afraid to draw the same image multiple times till you get it right, it might be boring, but it's very helpful.
-Don't get discouraged, take your time, and keep hustlin cuzzzzz
so many fuckups
thank you for the helpful advice!
