if you aren't passionate and it's not something you do for fun in your free time as well as in the office, then it's not going to work out.

the design field is so saturated with upstart hipsters looking to brand their local coffee shops that it's basically sink or swim once you're out of school, so you better love it.

It can work IF you are really talented at your work AND are good at marketing yourself. Sadly talent doesent mean much(unless you get lucky), unless you can market yourself.

Tanner (UncleMuscles) is an art major.
He has since graduated.
Now, he posts videos of him riding bikes and throwing up.
