I Think what he means is that now you have red, pink/Purple, blue and yellow orange.
Its better if you pick a color from the render to work with, and then add Another color that complements that color, than to pick two colors that has nothing to do with the render.
If you dont like the coloring on the render you can just change its color.

Or you can just change it when its done by gmaping Everything. <- I did that in the tag im wearing, all that pink/blue/Purple was originally just blue White and yellow

All I know are complimentary, triad, and analogous color schemes
