I stated the plain truth. All you need to do is practice more, paint more often - which I stated. Which I state to every single person who comes here. It's the only advice you need right now.
ed; you've got 3 pages of people way more experienced in web design, graphic design and traditional art giving you advice and you've done nothing but defend your work, choices and decisions. That's all you need to know.
i don't judge comments based on the posters unknown amount of experience, i judge them based on substance. thank you though, i can tell you are genuine in what you say.
i'm not trying to defend my work, i'm defending my integrity as an artist which none of you seem to have any respect for.
i know i'm not very good, and haven't developed a style of my own yet, so i agree that to keep painting and learning is the best i can do for now.

holy shit. did you not read my post. I have worked with watercolor for a while m8.
tbh, your watercolor for the most part looks like shit. It doesnt look like watercolor.... You tried to paint to much as if you were using acrylic... You dont fully understand watercolor do you... Your trying to control it to much. It also looks as if you dont understand watercolor techniques in the slightest....
do you have any idea how many different ways there are to work with watercolor? so what if i treat it like acrylic? some painters let colors flow wet on wet, i prefer wet on dry, so what? i've been through countless books on watercoloring and had tutoring from several teachers who don't complain about my style at all.
