dont mind the lighting on mine, was just trying to fix the general anatomy



dont focus on the teeth as individual pieces quite yet, just see the general mass/shape they make

dont go into detail quite yet but rather block in them shapes

i assume your using a reference?

I draw a lot with pencil and charcoal. I take out books about art and read a ton. It's always been a hobby of mine, I've just never really asked for help before so there are some things that I do wrong that are just engraved at this point from self teaching.

Updated a little more. Will probably continue tonight after I do some homework. Also wouldn't mind suggestions on other elements I could add to it. So far I'm thinking a chalice, a wine bottle, and possible candles. Maybe a book shelf in the background?

book looks right to me?

if you add a candle, dont make the candle lit. candle light is very hard to achieve in a work....
