If you are going to police the gfx section and close gfx general chat because of spam, why don't you close the useless topics in this section and move the requests to where they belong. It's rather obvious that you are targeting the general chats. Why? I don't think the problem is having conversations that aren't about graphic design. The problem is that when someone says something stupid in 1337 speak, ten people respond in a similar fashion.
