Use that mask thing on that layer, (the one with rectangle + circle as an icon) and brush with black for parts you want to erase and white for parts you want to recover.

ahhhhh aight, ill use this way
there use to be a way to just select the adjustment layer then erase over it with pen instead of brushing but either way ;p
