Why the fuck is it so hard to figure out what 7/8 inch is in pixels? How has NO ONE ON THE INTERNET EVER ASKED THIS BEFORE.

photoshop coverts, put in 7/8 inch and then switch it to pixels

I couldnt figure out how to do that because of the / though ._. Im horrible at anything math related, I dont even know what that last part means D:

This is also at 300 dpi, dont know if that matters.

7/8 = 7 divided by 8

7 divided by 8 = 0.875 inches

resolution is dpi?

if so 263px = 7/8 inches

Thanks Silly, I hate to be annoying but 263 by what? I have to put in a width and height, thats another thing thats so confusing =/

umm what is the size of the canvas?

did you mean 7 (length or width) by 8(length or width)?

cause I thought you meant 7, 8ths, as in 7/8 was one dimension (width or length)

Well basically Im making a graphic for a ribbon. The ribbons will be like 3/8 of an inch, 7/8, 1 inch, and 1.5 inches. I tried to use an online converter but it doesnt let you do things with a slash.

The canvas itself is 8.5x11 inches. Its just confusing me how when you make a new document you have to have a width and a height, so I dont get how to get 3/8 and 7/8 to translate over to that.
