tape the edges with cloth medical tape or something similar to keep it from splintering when you run it across the saw.
or even duct tape

and if that fails, which it shouldn't, tape a board on top of it.
I've also seen people using candle-wax as well. Idk.. never tried it.

its not so much a machine as it is the Jigs to do it.

To answer, yes I have the equipment.

No, I dont have the jigs.

Jigs are the templates on where to make all the very precise cuts.


I could make the jigs, but that takes time.

so I bought the spanish cedar today, it was 49 dollars!!! for only 4 and a half square board feet.

but its enough to line my three cigar boxes. so yay.
