You're lucky, for sure. Although at the smaller sized gauges the size between stretches is small, when you get to bigger gauge sizes it's not worth skipping, as it's often more than a 1mm stretch. Taping is by far the best option though.

i do taper with lube and i think what i did was farely safe. =D but not for everyone

Whether or not you taper with lube is irrelevant, it doesn't help the tissue stretch, it just helps the taper slide through.

i used tapers the whole way. i usually put them in when im in the shower, i have the 0 gage right now and it looks really big so i'm debating on whether or not to go to 0.

yea and im suprised you havent ripped a lobe or bled from jumping that many sizes haha... and going from no gages to a 6 gages is really painful veilside. i saw my friend get them and they use like a fucking drill and it was really bloody

They used a dermal punch, it wasn't painful at all. And it wasn't a 6ga, it was 6mm, so 2ga.
