Movements are smoother than wow, actually. Class system is more advanced than wow, gives a lot more player control over what he wants to accomplish.

Really graphic intensive, though, however the game looks really great.

Rifts opening up all over the place all the time make levelling less of a drag, and the quest hubs are cool from what I've seen so far, the starting quests were especially fun for me. Playing Defiant Necro/Warlock/Dominator currently, shit is pretty radical.

I'd imagine PvP is a lot better than wow because of the variety of skillsets available to every player.

yeah the game itself doesnt have the great story like wow, and only has 3 races.
but there are soooo many class combinations
i did paragon-reaver-paladin, was pretty awesome
Its crazy intensegraphics, I was only able to turn gfx up to 1/2 and it still got choppy every so often
And My pc is pretty new still.
The quests feel kinda force fed though, like you absolutely have to do them. WoW still seems a lot more freelance
I have faith though with time Rift will be a great great game.
They need to work on the gfx problems though. I know a couple friends who are running decked out alienware or w/e comps and STILL can't go max graphics
makes me think it's not so much my p/c as it is the game is so new.

as far as graphics = to performance, WoW wins. With everything on low Wow still has a visual appeal
The super low settings on rift just look like absolute crap.

/e also horrendous server lagg in the big city on rift.

Rift was just released, and it's anticipating the growth in technology to keep the graphics up to date for at least a few years.
