my friend had RIFT, he played for about a week, it looked terrible, the movements and shit looked real shotty, some free mmorpgs look better


as a matter of fact, if youre really bored try Mythos, its kinda like a d2 based mmorpg, kinda fun and i dont think they have implemented everything yet. theres suppose to be pvp and end game raids

Movements are smoother than wow, actually. Class system is more advanced than wow, gives a lot more player control over what he wants to accomplish.

Really graphic intensive, though, however the game looks really great.

Rifts opening up all over the place all the time make levelling less of a drag, and the quest hubs are cool from what I've seen so far, the starting quests were especially fun for me. Playing Defiant Necro/Warlock/Dominator currently, shit is pretty radical.

I'd imagine PvP is a lot better than wow because of the variety of skillsets available to every player.

ya he said it was cool in the beginning, it just gets tedious/repetitive cause thats all you do, is clear rifts to level

and theres no way the movements are smoother then wow, i watched him play, they were similar but inferior imo

Everyone said the class system was ground breaking but it was still just like sub-classes and talent specs in other games.

WoW still has the most competitive community so if I ever feel the urge to play an MMO I'll be going back to WoW.

it doesnt seem likes its worth the 50 plus the subscription to me

unless youve got a bunch of buddies all playing it together
