In respect to metal music: I guess some of it yes, has its place. I like the occasional snippet on occasion, but i'm by no means a metalhead, and know fuck all about it. Its kinda 'exciting' ofr want of a better word. I listen to a lot of very chilled music, nice to have somehting a bit raw and racy sometimes. You?
I do dislike the culture of people who just like shit thrashing and get like Anarchy A's tatood all over and dont know shit about music and just want to look alternative, that annoys me. When they start to phlegm and roar it gets a little tedious. And metal bands often like to think themselves a lot scarier than they are.

I dig that! I actually like a well-shredded guitar, and I can imagine youre a decent player. Just the fact that you care about other peoples music tastes signifies to me that youre not like those gay unmetalhead metalheads.
Sounds like im totally going back on my word to impress you, but that not actaually whats happeneing. Just reassessing feelings lol:
I like metal music yeah, I dont listen to it much (though atm and a few times recently put up 'metal tag radio' on last.fm) but I like it for its immersiveness, rhythm and pace.

today i am having a day where i sit back and reflect on the accomplishments in my lifetime, and my failures/shortcomings pale in comparison to the things i have been a part of on a larger scale. it's something i've never felt before but i truly feel like i've taken a leap in the right direction for the first time in my life, and nothing else matters.

i'm ecstatic to be alive and well, and i hope i experience this feeling in the days to come!
