once upon a time my friend spencer got himself cancer, and he's like

"nick, i want you to quit smoking."

and i'm like, "man what? just because you have cancer doesn't mean i need to quit."

and he's like, "man, please, do it for me."

so i agreed to quit smoking, and then he didn't die from cancer, and i started smoking again.

I know a man thats 82 years old, smokes a pack a day. Been smoking since a teenager.
no cancer, no lung problems (copd etc)
Some people just get lucky.
Also knew a guy in his 50's that recently died from lung cancer.

My dads been smoking 2 packs a day for 40 years...

My mother made him have his lungs ect checked

he had 98% lung capacity and hardly any scarring.
