my point was, if you're going to shell out 235 for a mobo, you might as well pay extra and get something that isn't renowned for shitty atx standards and bloatware, broken-at-shipping, short life expectancy, and a myriad of other issues.

granted, my rig uses an asrock mobo currently, and i've had it for almost a year and it's still working fine, but in total it was around 700$ since i don't typically play high demand releases

sc2 is probably my most demanding game, and i play on low gfx because i prefer the aesthetic simplicity when it comes to rts and fps games.

got a contingent job offer today, need to take my drug test on monday and then i'm in the clear
ETA on a proper living situation is approx. 30 days.

meanwhile, kev is moving further than i did, to a more expensive area than i did, and he'll have a better quality of life than i will within 3-5 days than i do. life is a bitch.
