I am always looking for them. Or at least ones that don't say just --- slap on render, slap on c4d, slap on effects, adjustment layers, text optional --- but i still read nearly every tutorial i come across to see if they do anything creative. But the good ones, i do follow usually while doing my own little things.

even if they say slap on render slap on effect you're in no position to judge what tutorials are worthy of you right now

look at their placements and composition and their selection of colors

thats what you need to work on most right now

Very true, but it's cause there's already a lot of tuts out there that do have the same thing listed, but yeah i'm gonna pay more attention to placement and compo now because it's really troubling for me. I feel like a grade schooler trying to put together a puzzle piece.

If you haven't already, read these closely.



Don't worry about the tutorial part of the first one, just look at the top where he talks about render selection/colours/flow.

Not too sure about my text here, but it felt extremely empty in that area so i figured i'd at least try.
