Ignore the cast shadow.. as soon as i finished it i looked at it and literally slammed my face into the desk. It's a daily sphere etc.

nice practice, something that really helped for me is try to finish everything you draw/paint, don't try to rush it or think that won't look good. just try to make it as good as you can and you will notice it gets better and you get a good learning value from it, say for instance the sketch of the face, you could shade it and keep working on it and if it doesn't look better, do it again.. and if you keep drawing like this your learning curve will go up, so I believe.
