Photoshop is the obvious choice.
Gimp is the free choice.
Autodesk Sketchbook is my personal choice.

They all give you the same shit by the end of the day.

Most tutorials on YT in that order.

I would recommend Gimp to learn how to blend etc. Once you learned that you can get PS.
