For your knowledge, the reason I hosted this is because I PM’d TheReborn_Magi and asked if he was hosting one this year and I got a response back saying No and that he would never host one.

I reviewed the last few Secret Santa’s and there was either not one hosted or there was almost no participation.

I decided on a 200 FG entry fee which is going into a prize pool and encourage those who did elect to join would actually complete something rather then risk people being left without signatures.

The first Signature judging will be done by 2-3 people to narrow down 10 signatures for the community to vote on which is the top 3, and the the prize pool will then be distributed as a 60 / 25 / 15 Split.

if you are gonna mention private messages you should also add that i asked you to delete this thread because it felt like a trolling of d2jsp graphics tradition. and obviously the 200fg entry to a decade long tradition of holiday camaraderie wasn't something i had ever considered when i said i didnt plan to ever host a secret santa

I'm not sure why you are so salty did you want me to pay for your entry? I can't see why you feel the need to make a scene I've lurked in graphic design a very long time posted occasionally, incentive is what brought me here to enter and you're complaining because this inner circle of gfx members you know normally make one for free? Why you can't be happy more people are coming to this section is beyond me

Just let the guy do his event and let it be. Its a cool idea and the fee is a incentive to not just pump out 5 minute work but put some actual effort in.
