your smudging is really good although I prefer it in the previous two compared to this one

I found a random resource pack and it was in it. What makes you prefer the other two? I personally dont like that green one I did. I'd like to go back and fix the one if pain as well.

Maybe it's the pure black, where it's missing some detail that the darker parts still have in the others and this might just be personal preference but I like the longer smudge lines compared to the smaller rounding shapes

I tried and didn't like anything else. Was watching tutorials on using curves. Did you know you can alt click the auto button.....
