As for resources - I found Ahmed Aldoori and Shaddy Safadi's youtube channels really helpful, also Nathan Fowkes' classes on schoolism are really really worth it (its like 15 bucks).

The proportions were a little off, all im doing on it for now. Will probably do a new painting of him later as this was fun

what does he teach exactly? I guess I can google, but if you think it will help me progress with this tablet I'm happy to pay the 15 bucks. If its just general composition info and stuff like that, keep in mind i've been painting since I was just a wee Greg... not that I ignore opportunities to learn, just don't want to learn what I already know n whatnot

He has a few classes on there that focus on environments and color keys for film. His lectures are pretty good but I got the most out of his assignments and critiques - he does lots of paint overs and seeing how he can get so much done from some simple strokes helps.

should i post terrible study doodles? or do you guys just want the paintings?

some quick doodles I did earlier today. Trying to draw dudes.... im just not great at it. I mean, im not really great with people in general,.. but I have an especially hard time with dudes.

I love Ahmed's female faces. They always come out so interesting. I'll like watch him scribble and produce Rembrandt, then I squiggle and produce feces. Then I get mad and swear off of art forever.
