think about the composition as a whole. dont just put cool looking shit in random places, place things carefully to create an overall, well-composed picture that has good balance, good flow, direction(if applicable), and good color scheme.

look up the basic elements of art and incorporate them all into your signature making

I use colored soft brush and bend it around for lightning and multiply on shadows when I don't feel like looking through my old resources

You have to manage your blurs

the tutorail i was following didnt have blurs ._./

Most of your sigs look really blurry. Use good quality resources.
Sharpen your focal (but be careful not to oversharpen it. use smartsharpen) and blur or burn the things that are far away from your focal point (and again be careful not to overblur)
