Yeah my original idea was to bring up the fact that there are some people who are asking exorbitant amounts for stuff that looks like they've never used photoshop and then post amazing stuff in gdgc.. and I really cant tell if they're slacking off and giving people bad deals or just posting stuff in the graphic design forum that they didn't make or just completely copied from a tutorial.

your talking about work from the request forum to the gd forum? correct?

Stuff posted in both forums.. by certain users.. which of course will be left unnamed.

People requesting sigs dont understand good quality work..... You can spend hours on a sig and make it top notch, but they will ALWAYS choose the lower quality terrible sigs.....


so why should we waste our time?

Yeah I understand that, but there are some people who have posted stuff asking for outrageous amounts for such little time spent... When you're making sigs for the graphics request you gotta accept that you're not always going to be rewarded for your effort.. that's why I carefully choose which requests I post attempts for.

I mean there's a certain point where you're just taking advantage of people who don't know what is usually payed for signatures. I never ask for fg when I post an attempt... Either accept the price that's listed or quote them for a price if there isn't one already listed. Don't just go into a thread and post an half-ass attempt and ask for x hundred forum gold.

this isn't a site dedicated to graphics... you cant expect any of that...

not to mention these are facking signatures, not gallery work or company clients..

It doesn't matter what the request is for.. As long as your getting payed fg to do something I think you have a moral responsibility to at least make an attempt shows some sort of appreciation of forum gold you're asking.

People act like fg has no real value.

and on top of that considering how low quality some of the stuff in the request forum is i really makes me question whether or not some of the "pieces" people post in gd are actually theirs in anyway...
