if you watched the tut, you can rotate the canvas
"The tut" .. what tut?
I tried to rotate the screen. It made the spinning arrow as if it was going to rotate, but then does nothing. I even used Ctrl + T to free transform it and then try to rotate it but I had to type in the values manually.

I own a 13in Cintiq and find it to be a bit of a waste, while its in the cintiq family... its not really that awesome a piece of hardware, the screens resolution is really quite bad which makes for annoying times where you feel like your trying to draw between pixels.
If anything, I would buy a used one. where it still has the warranty
save the cash, and buy a new huge screen for your computer. should make it easier.
This sounds like a problem. I'm sorry you're unhappy with it. I've got a 32" computer screen so I don't think a bigger one would be necessary. I have no problem in using the bamboo, it's just the fact that it's so god damn sensitive I could paint while the stylus is a mile away from the tablet itself. I've seen videos of people using their Cintiqs first hand, and they have such a natural response that it caught my attention immediately. The pen pressure for the cintiqs is also a lot higher than the bamboos. I was thinking about getting the 22hd refurbished. $1,500 is very expensive but if it can do everything it says, then I feel practicing on the cintiq 22hd and getting good on that rather than the bamboo would be a better decision for me.
I love to work things out without having to circumvent the issue entirely, so if someone can tell me if there is a way to fix that sensitivity problem then I'm happy to hear it. Maybe it's the cheap bamboo. Are the intuos any good? 21UX? I'm just looking to have a good tablet.
