sorry you have no credentials to speak.

CHurley is an old member of the GD forum and has posted amazing work in the past.

in regards to you dawwghogg

hold shift when resizing pictures that assassin in the signature looks out of proportion.

also when performing tutorials remember to try to absorb what and why you're doing what you're doing.
and also look up tutorials on colors.

Just noticed I lost a lot of quality, I think I saved as png-8 and not 24 :P will look when i get home

Most of the technical stuff's been said by UncleMuscles

Important thing is that once you post something, don't linger on it trying to perfect it
Just extract the key errors and correct them in the next sig

Tutorials will help you only so much, the rest you need to watch how other designers make sigs and realize the difference between your composition and their's

First off, I linked my thread for a reason. They are actually good tutorials. Go through them first.

Secondly, 99% of tutorials you find through google are terrible, including the one you just linked.
DeviantArt or tagfreak tend to be the better places for tutorials.

Bad tutorials like the one you've just linked will teach you bad no-go habits.

Example taken from your linked tutorial:

Quote
Blending your render

Select the Eraser Tool (E)

Never ever do this!

Basic generally means bad.
There's a lot that goes in to making a good tag, it's more than "copy, paste, & use photoshop effects with no real effort".

Well it's been a week, but here is a new attempt, I'm kinda happy with it, I think it is a hell of a lot better than my last attempts.
