you should assume that you literally know nothing about anything. Also, don't assume tutorials are half assed. There are a ton of bad tutorials, but most would still be a step up from what any beginner starts out with. The most popular sig tutorials on google and deviant art are not going to be half assed.

don't expect people to search for this stuff for you. There are some helpful people, but if you won't even go as far as to make one google search those people are going to be less likely to help.

Also, once you're done with all that, take a look at some really talented peoples .PSD files. You can find those on deviant art as well
This will give you an idea of each artists individual methods for creating a great sig

better. Still not awesome but a lot better than your others. I see you tried to add depth, lighting, you applied the rule of thirds, the color scheme isn't horrible, etc.
