2 point practice drawing. And a question about it as well. Signs such as super market etc. Would the lines of the letters be going straight up just getting smaller and/or bigger as they go? or are the letters angled?

yes they are angled and their size diminishes in space just like anything else, just as ayudame said, letters are shapes contained in other shapes, they follow the rules of the dominant form (the box itself)

take a tissue box or better yet, something longer with words on it and just observe the way the text is working when you rotate in space, then come back to your drawing and fix it

Felt like doing a random rubix cube in 2 pt.
wasn't trying to be perfectly detailed... only took about 15 minutes on it.

As everyone told me, if you take only 15 minutes on something. you're not going to improve.

I don't want to be wrong, but shouldn't you just master the basics first?
If you did already, my bad.

these are the basics

perspective is one of the first things you should learn

@op try to move the boxes around the page, not just in the center, maybe above the ground plane and favoring one side, this will show you how to deal with a third side to the box. If you move too far from the ground plane though, it might lose its believability

First pear ever drawn. Feel kind of good about it since i'm still learning... besides the background... I think the pear actually turned out pretty well.

you're missing the reflective light to the very left. look at the picture and you will see theres a mid tone slightly on the very edge.
