pen's more than enough, if you want to play around with it with your fingers and got some spare money then you can also get the pen & touch, doesn't rly matter..
eraser should be on both imo..
a5 is enough imo..my intuos is a5 as well and works ^^ unfortunately i'm not the best with brushing and digipainting yet
Well, my original idea is I'd have the pen to use for gfx and could use the touch part when I wasn't in digipainting mode for fun internet traveling, but yeh, I think I know what I'm going to do now. 
Plan: Buy a Wacom Bamboo Pen now, if I really enjoy it and use it that much (and I'm sure I will) get Intuos Medium for birthday/xmas instead of just getting money.
