I like the way macs look but i dont like the OS (if that makes much sense at all)

Can always dual boot with windows.

But ahh, 2500 is alot of money for a laptop, so you could probs get a voodoo or sumin.

e. or a alienware lappy, if your into that sort of thing.

Well i want to spend around 2000, because i would let to set 1000 back for "just in case" money. Someone told me that cheapest/best way was to build your own but I don't know if any good sites to do it.

e, i remember finding an american site that let you build your own for pretty cheap when i was looking for a laptop, but then ended up getting a macbook pro.

Hello there mark

To be honest, this is what I would do :
Buy a lap top for like music, school work, internet and photoshop.. I should cost like 600-700$
Then, you buy a damn good gaming computer for 1300$. (ofc, you build it)

I have a very nice desktop that i use for gaming. Its just that my laptop that i used the past couple semesters got messed up during summer break. So i am not looking for a top of the line gaming laptop just something that i can do classwork on and use to play games every now and then for the times I have to stay on campus between classes.

Then macbook can be nice, especially for graphics and works and style.
But, at the same price, you'll have better performances for gaming for a windows one

Yeah macs aren't even an option in my mind (for me personally) I am looking at a couple different ones now but I will probably just have the guy that customized my desktop do it for me.
