did we watch the same movie >.> i remember it as a lousy cheapass movie with soundtracks borrowed from the games. i was actually expecting akira to compose some new tunes for the movie.
and i was expecting a totally different approach, i didn't feel that silent hill atmosphere at all. the games are psychologically fucked up, while the movie is basically the scary looking monsters o.o and clearly not enough of pyramid head, that motherfucker would make me shit my pants whenever he followed me around draggin his hugeass rusty sword.
then again, i feel like i have to rewatch the movie, i only watched it once the day it premiered, which was like 4 years ago.
p.s. did anybody actually finish the 'homecoming' game?
oh and did u guys notice that note in silent hill 2, the one that you find in the dumpster right next to that apartment building in the beginning of the game, it mentions Walter Sullivan getting out of jail or something, and walter didn't come into the picture until silent hill 4

yeah finished homecoming, with all honesty - my favorite game. while all of the games are good the controls are rough half the time.
the ending and expected twist were amazing, only complaint is the game is way to short
of course like all silent hill it ammo starves you
it might have mentioned him, but i dont remember walter being in it, but its been a while since i played... one of those games i can only play once then the fun is gone if you know what to do

as for the movie the actor who played the evil girl was absolutely amazing. "Look, im on fire!"
there were alot of subbtle twists to the plot in the movie.
I was just impressed they didnt screw up any of the monsters - they all looked how they should
and i loved that they used game music
